DUSHANBE, October 19, 2010, Asia-Plus -- On Monday October 18, President Emomali Rahmon had telephone conversations with mayor of Dushanbe and governors of Khatlon and Sughd provinces, according to presidential press service.
Khatlon governor Ghaybullo Afzalov and Sughd governor Qohir Rasoulzoda reported on the cotton-harvesting campaign in the areas and preparations for autumn-winter 2010-2011.
Preparation of the capital city for winter period was a major topic of Rahmon’s conversation with Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev.
The president charged the administrators to take adequate measures to ensure regular work of their economies during winter period and provide the population with electricity and fuel during autumn-winter 2010-2011, presidential press service said.
