DUSHANBE, October 29, 2010, Asia-Plus -- President Emomali Rahmon has introduced a number of staff changes at today’s government meeting.
According to presidential press service, Mahmoudjon Sobirov, formerly Deputy Foreign Minister, has been appointed the First Deputy Foreign Minister, replacing Abdullo Yuldoshev.
We will recall that by president’s decree of October 12 Abdullo Yuldoshev was appointed Ambassador of Tajikistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Nizomiddin Zohidov, who had previously worked as Chancellor of Khujand State University, was appointed Deputy Foreign Minister.
Vahhob Nabiyev, formerly deputy governor of Sughd province, was appointed Chancellor of Khujand State University.
Habibullo Noziri, formerly editor-in-chief of the Adabiyot va Sanat weekly, was appointed the first deputy head of the Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting, replacing Abdurahmon Abdumannonov, who was retired for age reasons.
