DUSHANBE, January 22, 2011, Asia-Plus -- By president’s decree Davlatali Hotamov, formerly director of the Agency for Standardization, Metrology, Certification and Trade Inspection (Tojikstandart) under the Government of Tajikistan, was appointed Tajikistan’s Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Ibodullo Qurbonov, who had previously served as the first deputy director of the Tojikstandart agency, was appointed to head the agency.
President Emomali Rahmon signed the decrees on January 21.
