DUSHANBE, January 24, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Powers of the member of the Majlisi Namoayndagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) Talbak Salimov terminated as he was appointed head of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of Tajikistan at the end of last week, according to the Central Committee for Elections and Referenda (CCER).
Talbak Salimov came to the parliament from the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP)’s list and Hayot Odinayev, the head of the curriculum department at Tajik National University will replace him in the Majlisi Namoyandagon since he followed Talbak Salimov on the list, the source said.
