DUSHANBE, February 23, 2011, Asia-Plus -- The Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) endorsed a resolution on nullifying three laws on February 23.
Upon recommendation of the government, the law “On Amenability for Destabilization of Social and Political Situation in Tajikistan” has expired.
Minister of Justice Bakhtiyor Valiyev noted that the government proposed to nullify this law because new penal and administrative codes of the country provide for punishment for destabilization of the social and political situation in the country.
Besides, the laws on the ban on unauthorized collection or realization of mumiyo-containing materials and the measures to strengthen labor discipline substances have also expired.
