DUSHANBE, March 14, 2011, Asia-Plus -- The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower camber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered the issue of holding open parliamentary hearings on implementation of the 2010-2011 budget spending for transportation and communications sectors at a March 14 meeting, presided over the Majlisi Namoyandagon speaker Shukurjon Zuhurov.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board also discussed draft laws on public finances, procedures of custody of persons suspected of committing a crime and criminal defendants, national archives and record-keeping offices.
The board also considered the Majlisi Namoyandagon draft resolution on ranks for employees of the Ministry of Justice.
All the considered issues will be considered at a sitting of the second session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fourth convocation that take place on March 16, Sultonov said.
