DUSHANBE, April 12, 2011, Asia-Plus -- President Emomali Rahmon introduced a number of new staff changes on April 11.
According to the presidential press service, academician Akbar Tursunov was appointed to head the Institute of Tajik Language, Literature, Oriental Studies and Written Heritage at the Academy of Sciences.
Boymuhammad Safarov was appointed deputy head of the Main Directorate for the Protection of State Secrets and Suhrob Valimadov was appointed deputy director of Agency for Standardization, Metrology, Certification and Trade Inspection.
Abdulhamid Nozimov was appointed to head the education and science department at President’s Executive Office.
Besides, by agreement wit the president Saydamir Jononov was appointed director of the Branch of Tajik State Teachers’ Training Institute in Rasht district and Narzullo Aminov was appointed director of the Institute of Rural Economics at the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan.
