DUSHANBE, June 22, 2011, Asia-Plus -- On Wednesday June 22, Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament endorsed amendments to the Constitutional Law “On the Courts of the Republic of Tajikistan.”
These amendments make knowing the state language compulsory for persons working in judicial system of the country.
Parliamentarians also endorsed amendments providing for imposition of administrative action for distribution of extremist audiotapes.
The Majlisi Namoyandagon also endorsed amendments to the laws on holidays and environmental protections as the well the forestry code.
