DUSHANBE, January 6, 2012, Asia-Plus -- President Emomali Rahmon has reshuffled regional administrators in Khatlon province.
According to the presidential press service, Pirmadkhon Zaripov, former deputy mayor of Kulob, was appointed chairman of the Muminobod district, replacing Safarali Zokirov, who was retired for age reasons.
Kholmurod Rahmonov, who had previously been deputy governor of Khatlon province, was appointed chairman of the Qumsangir district, replacing Sirojiddin Najmiddinov. Sirojiddin Najmiddinov was also retired for age reasons, the source said.
