DUSHANBE, July 4, 2012, Asia-Plus -- Interior Minister Ramazon Rahimov has shaken up a number of police officials in the provinces.
The Interior Ministry press center reports Colonel Nourali Rashidov appointed to head the police department in Khatlon’s Panj district, replacing Colonel Shodmon Ajikov, and Colonel Dodobek Nazirbekov was appointed chief of the police department in the northern city of Istiqlol (Sughd province), replacing Lieutenant-Colonel Abdurahmon Qurbonov.
Lieutenant-Colonel Samad Sayfov was appointed to head the transportation police department in Sughd province, and Major Muhabbat Abdulloyev was appointed chief of the police department in the Nourobod district (eastern Tajikistan).
Besides, Colonel Bomurod Rahmonov was appointed commander of the motorized regiment within the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Interior of Tajikistan.
