DUSHANBE, August 18, 2012, Asia-Plus -- The government has developed a bill requiring amendments to the law on the national budget for 2012.
Ismoil Talbakov, the member of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) Committee on Finance and Budget, says the bill, in particular, provides for exempting the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) from paying value added tax (VAT) and customs duties for pedigree cattle import.
This bill also offers to exempt the Dushanbe mayor’s office from paying VAT and customs duties for twenty passenger buses being imported into the country, MP Talbakov said.
