DUSHANBE, December 17, 2012, Asia-Plus -- Tajik President Emomali Rahmon on December 15 sent a message of condolences to U.S. President Barak Obama following the school shooting tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut on Friday.
In his message, Emomali Rahmon, in particular, noted that that tragic news has proved once again that all the human beings should join hands and conduct relentless fight against any form of violence related to human rights violations.
Tajik president also asked to convey his condolences to relatives of those killed in the school shooting.
A gunman slaughtered 28 people, including 20 children, at an elementary school in Newtown. The shooting is the second most deadly in the U.S. history, only after the Virginia Tech Massacre in April 2007, which claimed 33 lives.
