DUSHANBE, January 24, 2013, Asia-Plus -- A meeting of Tajikistan’s Security Council, presided over by its head, President Emomali Rahmon, is currently going on in Dushanbe.
A well-informed source within the government says the meeting will hear reports of heads of the country’s power-wielding structures on measures taken by them to ensure security and public order in the country.
“The meeting will also consider issues related to the fight against drug trafficking, terrorism, extremism and transnational crime,” the source noted.
