DUSHANBE, February 28, Asia-Plus -- The 13th session of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) seconded the law requiring amendments to the country’s law on state dues.
Speaking at the session, member of the Majlisi Milli, Saymurod Taghoyev, noted that the amendments provide for raising rates of a number of state dues.
Thus, the rate of the state due for issuing Tajik visas to foreign citizens and stateless persons was raised from 80.00 to 160.00 somoni and the rate of the state due for the power of attorney for driving vehicles was raised from 40.00 to 80.00 somoni.
The rate of the state due for marriage to foreigners was also raised -- from 80.00 to 200.00 somoni.
