DUSHANBE, March 7, 2013, Asia-Plus -- President Emomali Rahmon today met with a group of newly appointed officials, the president’s official website reports.
By government’s decisions Bozor Odinayev was appointed Deputy Minister of Education, Sherali Guljonov was appointed Deputy Minister of Transport, and Rahmatullo Karimov was appointed Deputy Minister of Land Reclamation and Water Resources.
By president’s orders Hasan Mahmadaminov was appointed to head the Panj Free Economic Zone (FEZ) Administration, Ibodullo Saidmurodov was appointed Adviser to the President for Economic Matters, Mahmadsharif Boboshoyev was appointed Adviser to the President for Science and Modern Technologies, Talbak Khoujamurodov was appointed Adviser to the President for Personnel Policy, and Odinasho Murodov was appointed to head the department on religious affairs and observing national traditions and rituals at President’s Executive Office.
Besides, the head of state approved appointment of new chiefs of police stations in Dushanbe’s Sino and Shohmansour districts as well as in Roudaki and Jomi districts.
The head of the preliminary investigation control department within the Prosecutor-General’s Offices as well as chief prosecutors in Varzob, Shouroobod and Ishkashim districts and in the city of Panjakent were also replaced.
The chief of the anticorruption agency’s office in the Rasht district was also replaced, the source said.
