DUSHANBE, April 26, 2013, Asia-Plus -- High professionalism, knowledge of languages and modern technologies as well as honest service to the people and homeland should be the main criteria for selection and placing of key personnel, President Emomali Rahmon stated today while addressing the Parliament.
According to him, local universities have graduated more than 40,000 economists and some 10,000 lawyers, “but there are very few skilled specialists meeting international standards and requirements among them.”
In this connection, the head of state ordered relevant governmental bodies to pay special attention to that problem.
The president also called on the government and the parliament to intensify their work with civil society.
