DUSHANBE, June 18, 2013, Asia-Plus -- Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, who is currently on his working visit to Sughd province, today visited Ghonchi and Asht districts, the president’s official website reports.
While in Ghonchi, Rahmon attended an official opening of the second part of the “Fayz” Service and Trade Center and a ceremony of commencement of the reconstruction of roads in the district administrative center.
In the Asht district, the president attended a ceremony of an official opening of the sport complex. 1.7 million somoni have been spent for construction of this complex.
President Rahmon met with 26 orphaned children from the Asht district in one of the complex’s halls and gave presents to them.
While in Shaidon, the administrative center of Asht, the president reportedly donated 100 computers to the Asht education department.
