DUSHANBE, August 9, 2013, Asia-Plus -- A group of employees of the Public Management Directorate under the President of Tajikistan and the Civil Servants'' Professional Development Institute of the Republic of Tajikistan are completing a five-day training course at the Public Management Academy under the President of Belarus in Minsk today.
The training course participants have reportedly studied issues related to higher education, public management and ideology and development of the higher education management infrastructure.
While in Minsk, Tajik civil servants also held meetings with senior representatives of the administration of the Minsk Voblast (Province), visited the Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ), Belarus National Library, Modern Belarusian Statehood Museum and got acquainted with activities of the municipal unitary enterprise “Minsk Vegetable Factory.”
The Academy of Public Management under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus is the leading higher educational establishment in a national education system of the Republic of Belarus and head establishment of education in system of training, retraining and in-service training of the personnel in management sphere. The Public Management Academy was established in 1991 and it acquired the status of a presidential institution in 1995. Today the Public Management Academy under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus claims to be not only a leading centre of science of the country in the field of the government, but also leading higher educational establishment in a national education system of the Republic of Belarus.
