DUSHANBE, September 25, 2013, Asia-Plus -- The government has submitted a bill requiring changes to the country’s law on the 2013 national budget for consideration to the lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of the parliament.
MP Safarali Gulov, who is the deputy head of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Committee on Finance and Budget, says the bill provides for exempting equipment delivered to the country for Tajik Railways, Tajik Air Navigation and Qairoqqum carpet weaving plant from VAT and customs duties.
According to him, relevant committees and commissions of the parliament are currently calculating how much the country’s budget will receive less.
