DUSHANBE, October 29, 2013, Asia-Plus – Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, who is currently on a working visit to the Kulob region in the southern Khatlon province, yesterday inaugurated a large trade center, Sultoni Kabir, in the administrative center of the Vose district, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
The center that will create more than 4,500 new jobs has been built on the area of 4 hectares. It has several sewing workshops, two gyms, children’s entertainment center, shops and parking lot.
The center was reportedly built by local entrepreneur Avaz Kabirov and a total cost of the project is some 30 million somoni. To-date, 18 million somoni have been spent for implementation of this project, the website reports.
The president urged Avaz Kabirov to build several other social facilities in Vose. The entrepreneur promised to build a modern hotel in the administrative center of the district and a 5,000-seat stadium in the Roudaki jamoat.
While in Vose, President Rahmon also met with regional administrators to discuss issues related to socioeconomic development of Vose.
The president noted that funds would be allocated from the country’s budget for construction of a large multi-purpose stadium in the administrative center of Vose.
