DUSHANBE, November 11, 2013, Asia-Plus -- The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered prospects of the country’s monetary policy for 2014 at a November 11 meeting, presided over by its head, Shukurjon Zuhurov.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, says the document, aimed at keeping stable price in domestic market and promoting further development of the banking sector, has been worked out by the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT).
The board also discussed the draft law on pre-school education and amendments proposed to the country’s laws on the national budget for 2013 and state social insurance.
