DUSHANBE, December 17, 2013, Asia-Plus -- The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament endorsed the plan of parliamentary discussions for 2014 at a December 16 meeting, presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon speaker Shukurjon Zuhurov.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, says the board also discussed issues related to the progress of implementation of the adopted laws, national programs, environmental protection problems, and targeted use of budgetary funds.
Besides, the board discussed bills requiring amendments to the country’s laws on insurance activity, public associations, health insurance, Tajikistan Water Users Association, and legal status of foreign citizens.
The bills were sent for detailed discussion to the Majlisi Namoyandagon committees and commissions, Sultonov said.
