DUSHANBE, December 26, 2013, Asia-Plus – New head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Tajikistan has been appointed.
Manouchehr Mahmoudov, who had previously headed the MFA Department for Settlement of Territorial and Border Issues, was appointed Head of the MFA Consular Department, replacing Jamoliddin Ubaidulloyev.
Jamoliddin Ubaidulloyev, who is the son of Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, headed the Consular Department from 2012 to September 2013 before being transferred to the MFA Department for International Organizations.
Besides, Shermahmad Niyozov was appointed to head the MFA State Protocol Department.
