DUSHANBE, January 19, Asia-Plus – On Saturday January 18, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon met with recently appointed deputy defense ministers, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
Zarif Bobokalonov was appointed Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Tajikistan and First Deputy Minister of Defense.
Saidamir Roziqov and Abduhalim Nazarov were appointed deputy defense ministers.
Mirali Rahmatov was appointed Commander of the Mobile Troops of the Armed Forces of Tajikistan.
Zarif Hakimov was appointed to the head the Ministry of Defense (MoD) Department for International Military Cooperation.
Sobirkhon Nazaraliyev was appointed to head the MoD Finance and Budget Department.
