“Speaking at the meeting, the mayor pointed to the necessity of implementing the municipal redevelopment plan, which includes the construction of modern buildings, and getting local entrepreneurs involved in development of the city,” Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office, told Asia-Plus in an interview.
A special attention was reportedly given to the construction of schools and pre-school institutions in Dushanbe.
