DUSHANBE, February 16, 2014, Asia-Plus – On Saturday February 15, President Emomali Rahmon met with a group of newly appointed officials of the country’s power-wielding structures.
According to the Tajik president’s official website, chiefs of four directorates of the Ministry of Defense and chief recruitment officers of the districts of the Kulob region of Khatlon province, Dushanbe’s districts, the cities of Tursunzoda and Sarband as well as the districts of Roudaki, Vakhsh, Qumsangir, Bokhtar, Nosir Khusrav, Jilikul, Shahritous, and Mastchoh were replaced.
Besides, the chiefs of five departments of the anticorruption agency and the head of anticorruption agency’s for Rasht Valley were replaced.
Staff reshuffles were introduced to the country’s law enforcement system as well. First deputy head of the regional court of the Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO) as well as heads of courts in the districts of Qubodiyon and Panj and chief prosecutor of the city of Roghun were replaced.
