DUSHANBE, May 5, 2014, Asia-Plus -- Prime Minister Rasoul Qohirzoda visited the Hisor district (central Tajikistan) on May 5.
Subhiddin Muhiddinov, a senior consultant to the president’s press center, says the main purpose of the visit was for the prime minister to get acquainted with the progress of construction of jubilee facilities in the district.
While in Hisor, the prime minister reportedly sites for construction a new 20,000-seat stadium and presidential school to accommodate 640 pupils. He also got acquainted with the process of rehabilitation of the Hisor Fortress, Palace of Culture, local museum and library.
He also met with Hisor district administrators to discuss issues related to construction of the jubilee facilities and targeted use of funds.
The jubilee facilities are expected to be officially opened next April, Muhiddinov said.
