DUSHANBE, May 15, 2014, Asia-Plus – By government’s decree president’s daughter Ozoda Emomali, formerly Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, was appointed the First Deputy Foreign Minister, replacing Mahmoudjon Sobirov.
Mahmoudjon Sobirov was relieved of his post of the First Deputy Foreign Minister last month in connection with transfer to other job.
Parviz Dodov, who had previously served as head of the Foreign Ministry Department for Contracts and Legal Affairs, was appointed Deputy Foreign Minister, replacing Ozoda Emomali.
We will recall that president’s daughter dropped her Russified name Ozoda Rahmonova for Ozoda Emomali last month.
