President Emamali Rahman does not plan to meet with representatives of the younger generation.
According to the information provided by the Committee on Youth Affairs, Sports, and Tourism to Asia-Plus, this year the Youth Day will be held without any official ceremonies. Only cultural events will be organized in all the city and district parks. In all the parks of Dushanbe concerts dedicated to this day will be held.
However, no official events are planned this year for the Youth Day. The Committee also added that the President''s traditional meeting with the youth on May 23 is usually held every five years.
Emamali Rahman met with the youth the last time last year. 2.2 thousand young Tajiks took part in the official meeting, and every one of them received an iPad and his book, "Maarefparvar" (Enlightner), as a gift.
