Tajik Prime-Minister, Qahir Rasoulzadeh, received today the Head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia, Miroslav Jenča.
Subhiddin Muhiddinov of the Presidential press-service, told Asia-Plus that issues related to regional security, development of cooperation within the region in water and energy sphere, and resolution of problems in the transportation and communication spheres were discussed.
Mr. Muhiddinov said: “It was noted that the UN and its structures are constantly supporting Tajikistan’s initiatives on building regional roads and communication hubs.”
According to him, issues of common concern were also discussed, as well as Tajikistan’s preparations for SCO Summit in September.
