DUSHANBE, October 30, 2014, Asia-Plus – Tajik President Emomali Rahmon introduced a number of staff changes at an October 29 meeting discussing a draft law n the national budget for 2015.

According to the Tajik president’s official website, Anvar Makhsoudov was appointed Chancellor of Khujand State University, replacing Ghafourjon Usmonov.  Ghafourjon Usmonov reportedly retired for health reasons.

Ibrohim Jobirov was appointed Director General of the State Unitary Enterprise (SUE) Tajik Air Navigation.

Shujoat Sirojev was appointed Executive Director of the Shagon-Zighar Road Project Implementation Unit.

Safar Karimov was appointed to head the Ferghana Valley Water Resources Management Project Implementation Unit.

Besides, a new composition of the Board of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of Tajikistan was approved.
