DUSHANBE, January 19, 2015, Asia-Plus -- The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament discussed the issue of ratification of a government-to-government agreement between Tajikistan and China on extradition and exchange of convicted persons at a January 19 meeting, presided over by its head, Shukurjon Zuhurov.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, says the board also discussed the issue of ratification of an agreement between the governments of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member nations on creating favorable conditions for international truck transportation.
Besides, the board members discussed amendments proposed to the country’s laws on licensing separate types of activity, pensions, and moratorium on inspection of activities of production enterprises.
A working group for drafting the housing code was set up at the board meeting, Sultonov said.
