DUSHANBE, March 17 2015, Asia-Plus -- Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev held a meeting on March 16 to review some infrastructure development projects, Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office, told Asia-Plus in an interview.
The meeting participants included heads of commissions of the Dushanbe legislature (Majlis), senior representatives of municipal agencies and law enforcement agencies as well as representatives of civil society.
Speaking at the meeting, the mayor urged the Dushanbe officials to review infrastructure development projects as the city is entering a new phase of its development, the spokesman said.
According to him, Ubaidulloyev also noted that they will also analyze works of all municipal agencies.
The mayor reportedly also drew attention of Dushanbe chief prosecutor Khairullo Saidzoda to the necessity of strengthening control of targeted use of land in Dushanbe.
