DUSHANBE, April 9, 2015, Asia-Plus -- Dushanbe police chief has been honored ahead of retirement.
The Interior Ministry reportedly honored retiring chief of the Dushanbe police directorate, Said Jourakhonzoda, with a congratulation ceremony.
The Interior Ministry’s website reports the Interior Minister, Lieutenant-General Ramazon Rahimzoda, congratulated Major-General Said Jourakhonzoda on retirement.
The minister, in particular, noted that Jourakhonzoda had made invaluable contribution to development of the country’s law enforcement agencies and education of young personnel.
We will recall that Colonel Foteh Qunghurotzoda, who had previously served as chief of the Interior Ministry department for maintenance of public order, was appointed to head the Dushanbe police directorate, replacing Said Jourakhonzoda.
