DUSHANBE, May 29, 2015, Asia-Plus – A government session, presided over by President Emomali Rahmon, took place on May 29.
According to the Tajik president’s official website, the session endorsed new compositions of the boards of the Interior Ministry and the State Committee on Land Management and Geodesy.
The session reportedly also endorsed standard regulations for Joint Stock Company Supervisory Councils and the country innovation development strategy for the period until 2020 strategy.
The session discussed and approved draft laws on amendments proposed to the country’s laws on national security and parental responsibility. The bills were sent for consideration to the lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament.
The government also endorsed a draft memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Main Geology Directorate under the Government of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Industry of Afghanistan.
The session also approved the redevelopment plan for the administrative center of the Vose district in Khatlon province.
By government’s decision the Council for Development of Cinematography was established, the Tajik president’s official website said.
