Emomali Rahmon in the framework of his working visit to Kulyab laid the first stone in foundation of the future perinatal regional center hospital of Kulyab.

As reports the press service of the Head of state, the perinatal center will be built in order to improve the health care of mother and child. The 3-storey building will be the maternity ward, a section of maintenance of pregnancy, operational and other departments. Unfinished building will be three-storeyd, with a total area will amount to 7 thousand m2.

According to preliminary calculations, the cost of building the hospital is estimated at 12 million 680 thousand TJS, 1 million 440 thousand of which will be spent on the purchase of the necessary medical equipment.

The President has also launched the construction of psychiatric and substance abuse hospitals, a building of which, according to the project, will consist of 4 floors and 120 seats.

In the basement of the hospital will be located clinic, clinical laboratory, drug testing sector and the Centre of Forensic Medicine of Kulyab region.

According to preliminary calculations of the specialists of "Korezloiha", the cost of constructing the facility is 12 million 680 thousand somoni, of which 1 million 440 thousand somoni will be allocated for the purchase of necessary medical equipment.

During the constructing of facility more than 700 local residents will be involved in the work.

After the completion of the two sites more than 500 young health professionals will be provided with permanent jobs.
