DUSHANBE, October 20, 2015, Asia-Plus -- Changes are expected to be made to Dushanbe’s administrative-territorial system.
According to the press center of the Dushanbe mayor’s office, a working group has been set up to study the issue of establishing a new district in Dushanbe.
Led by First Deputy Mayor Ashourbek Rasoulov, the working group should submit its proposals on establishment of the new district for consideration to the mayor’s office until November 28.
The new district is expected to be established due to the division of the Sino district into two parts.
Dushanbe currently consists of four districts: Shohmansour, Firdavsi, Ismoili Somoni, and Sino.
