DUSHANBE, October 21, 2015, Asia-Plus – Deputies of Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament have unanimously voted for ratification of a government-to-government agreement Tajikistan and France on construction of control tower at Dushanbe International Airport (DIA).
A regular sitting of the session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fifth convocation, presided over by its head, Shukurjon Zuhurov, was held on October 21.
Speaking at the session, Tajik Transport Minister Sherali Ganjalzoda noted that the project for construction of a 36-meter had been developed by French specialists. According to him, 3 million U.S. dollars are needed for implementation of this project.
France will award a grant for implementation of this project that is designed for 15 months, the minister noted.
We will recall that the agreement on construction of the control tower at the Dushanbe airport was signed here on July 13 this year. The document was inked by Tajik Minister of Transport Sherali Ganjalzoda and France’s Ambassador to Tajikistan, Mr. Didier Leroy.
