DUSHANBE, November 23, 215, Asia-Plus – On Monday November 23, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon signed a number of laws passed by Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) and seconded by Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) this year.
The president, in particular, signed the laws amending the country’s laws on licensing system, advocacy, equity market, public associations, and seed growing.
The president also signed the laws proposing amendments to the country’s laws on state duty and registration of acts of civil status as well as the country’s code family. These amendments reportedly simplifies the process for adopting orphaned children.
All laws signed by the president take effect after being published in official newspapers.
