DUSHANBE, January25, 2016, Asia-Plus – A new edition of the draft law on investments has been tabled to the agenda of a meeting of the board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament that is being held in Dushanbe today.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for Majlisi Namoyandagon, says the board is also discussing amendments offered the country’s laws on the anticorruption agency, national security bodies, criminal punishment execution system, automobile roads, education, adult education, parental responsibility, and sports training.
The board is also discussing amendments offered to the country’s tax code.
The board members are also discussing issues related to ratification of an agreement between the Government of Tajikistan and UN FAO on the project for improvement of locust management, Sultonov said.
