DUSHANBE, February 17, 2016, Asia-Plus – By president’s decree Farhod Vohidov was yesterday appointed deputy head of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS), replacing Abdulaziz Jalov, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
We will recall that this post has been vacant for four months as Abdulaziz Jalov was relieved of this post in October last year.
Besides, Izatullo Fayzulloyev was appointed the first deputy head of the Main Border Guard Directorate at the State Committee for National Security and the chief of the Main Headquarters of the Main Border Guard Directorate.
Shomuddin Sharipov was appointed to head the Main Border Guard Directorate’s office in Khatlon province.
Murodali Khudoyberdiyev was appointed the chief of the Combat Training Department of the Main Border Guard Directorate.
Besides, representatives of the ministries of defense and interior to relevant regional organizations, including the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), and Tajik embassy defense attaches in a number of countries were appointed.
