DUSHANBE, June 21, 2016, Asia-Plus – Deputies of Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament will go on a summer recession next week.
Deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon will go on the summer recession on July 1 after the final sitting of the second session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fifth convocation that will take place on June 30.
Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Shukurjon Zuhurov will address the sitting on June 30. He will report on the results of work carried out by the second session, Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said.
The summer recession runs through September 30. During the summer recession, MPs will hold meetings with their voters and get acquainted with socioeconomic situation in the provinces. From August 16 through September 30 they will work in committees and commissions, Sultonov said.
