DUSHANBE, August 5, 2016, Asia-Plus – As part of his working visit to Roghun, President Emomali Rahmon today inaugurated a new building of the State Committee for Nationals Security (SCNS)’s office in Roghun, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
Yesterday afternoon, President Rahmon reportedly visited the third-level heading (construction tunnel), which is the largest facility at the Roghun hydroelectric power plant (HPP).
It is reportedly used as a spillway tunnel to regulate water flow. The width of this facility is 32 meters, its height is 30 meters and its length is 34 meters.
