According to the President, because of the decline of morality among certain segments of our population, the number of people living in nursing homes is growing every year. "Some ungrateful children abandon their parents in their old age, which is contrary to the laws of humanity and religion," – said the President.
The head of state urged the population of Tajikistan to protect and preserve good traditions of Tajik people in terms of respect for elders and their parents.
E. Rahmon said that during the civil war in the country the education sector has been completely paralyzed, in some districts and towns were burned of the schools. Only in the Vakhsh valley, he said, were destroyed hundreds of schools, burned hundred thousands of books. "After achieving peace and harmony in the country in all regions of the country were built more than 2..5 thousand schools, the program of computerization of secondary schools performed at 111%," - said the President.
