A business incubator is expected to be established in Tajikistan for the purpose of supporting projects developed by young entrepreneurs, according to Tajik president’s official website.
This issue was reportedly discussed at a government session that took place on December 28 to review the results of the past year’s work.
Issues related to the national disaster risk reduction strategy designed for 2019-2030 were also discussed at the meeting.
Besides, the meeting participants discussed the plan of work of the government for the first half-year of 2019, measures on implementation of the national budget for 2019 as well as elaboration of parameters of the budget for 2020-2022 and the draft law on the national budget for 2021.
Members of the government also discussed draft laws on amendments proposed to the country’s laws on public service, fight against corruption and anticorruption assessment of laws and sent them for consideration to the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower house of parliament).
A business incubator is a company that helps new and startup companies to develop by providing services such as management training or office space.
Business incubators differ from research and technology parks in their dedication to startup and early-stage companies. Research and technology parks, on the other hand, tend to be large-scale projects that house everything from corporate, government or university labs to very small companies. Most research and technology parks do not offer business assistance services, which are the hallmark of a business incubation program. However, many research and technology parks house incubation programs.
