Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali is concerned over the state of schools recently commissioned in the city. He has ordered to set up a special commission to inspect those schools.
The mayor’s discontent was caused by the fact that several recently commissioned schools now need repair, according to the Dushanbe Administration.
By mayor’s decree a special commission has been set up to inspect the recently commissioned schools. The commission is led by First Deputy Mayor, Mahmadsaid Zuvaidzoda, an official source at the Dushanbe Administration told Asia-Plus in an interview.
According to him, the commission will inspect the state of new schools semiannually and report in writing to the mayor.
“Adequate measures will be taken against negligent school principals, up to dismissal,” the source added.
