On Wednesday, May 31, President Emomali Rahmon, who is also Head of the Government, held a government session meeting to discuss a number of draft laws and government conclusions.
Tajik president’s official website says the meeting participants, in particular, discussed changes and addenda proposed to the Administrative and Administrative Procedure Codes as well as country’s laws on education and export control.
They reportedly also discussed conclusions regarding amendments made to the Health Code and the country’s laws on the state language, state awards, military obligation and military service, minimum living wage, beekeeping, breeding, and soil protection.
After the discussions, those four draft laws and eight government conclusions were submitted for consideration to the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament).
Besides, the meeting participants discussed issues related to the National Program for the Development of Voluntary Activities in Tajikistan designed for 2023-2027, the Program for the Development of Pavlovian Cultivation in Tajikistan designed for 2024-2028, and the Award of the Government of Tajikistan in the field of tourism.
They also discussed measures to develop the cocoon industry and the report on the available lands, their distribution by groups, types and land users of the country as of January 1, 2023.
