On Friday October 20, as part of his working trip to the southern province of Khatlon President Emomali Rahmon visited Vose district, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
During the visit, Emomali Rahmon reportedly inaugurated the 110/35/10 kV electrical substation in Hulbuk settlement.
This power facility was constructed under financial support of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The Tajik president’s official website says the customer of this substation is Barqi Tojik (Tajik power utility company) and the construction contractor is Genser General Electric consortium.
The substation was reportedly built to make contribution to one the country’s strategic goals: the Accelerated Industrialization of the Country, providing the population with electricity, creating new jobs and improving the country’s energy potential.
The facility is equipped with modern high-quality technologies and equipment.
Fifteen specialists from among the local population work at the substation.
On the same day, the head of state virtually inaugurated the 110/10 kV substation and 110kV electricity transmission line in Mehnatobod village, Roudaki jamoat.
The Tajik president’s official website further added that 25,000 residents of villages in Roudaki district and 200,000 residents of Vose district will use the 110/35/10 electrical substation built in Hulbuk settlement.
