On August 21, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Chairman of the City of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali commissioned the new building of the Imom Azam – Abu Hanifa Numan ibn Sabit Islamic Institute of Tajikistan. It is located in the Sino district of the capital, the press service of the head of state reports.
The building was built with funds from the Reserve Fund of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan with the support of generous entrepreneurs of the country in accordance with the architectural and cultural traditions of the Tajik people.
The facility is located on an area of more than two hectares and consists of 7 buildings with a height of 6 and 8 floors. The institute has an assembly hall with 513 seats, 90 classrooms, administrative and other necessary facilities.
On the upper floors of the institute there is an electronic library, an examination room, a sports hall and two medical rooms. The institute has a dormitory with 520 beds.
The production and training facilities are equipped with the latest industry equipment and techniques that allow for practical training.
Emomali Rahmon was shown the museum of the Islamic Institute of Tajikistan. It contains rare copies of the Holy Quran, manuscripts, historical books and works of famous Tajik scientists, calligraphic tablets and other historical artifacts.
Today, Emomali Rahmon and Rustam Emomali have commissioned other facilities in the capital. For example, a new building of the City Clinical Hospital for Intoxication and Burn Injuries has been opened in Firdavsi district.
The main building of the hospital consists of seven floors and a basement and has 167 rooms, including 105 rooms for hospitalization of patients with 230 beds, reception and diagnostic departments, surgery, burn injuries, intoxication, traumatology, nervous diseases and other auxiliary rooms.
In the 192nd microdistrict of Shohmansur district, the President and the Mayor commissioned secondary school No. 4 for 1,450 students in two shifts. And in the Ismoili Somoni district the leaders of Tajikistan and Dushanbe participated in the opening of a new state preschool No. 59. The kindergarten is designed for 450 children.
