DUSHANBE, October 18, 2012, Asia-Plus -- Over the first nine months of this year, Tajik security forces have arrested 20 foreigners on drug charges, including nationals of Afghanistan (10), the Islamic Republic of Iran (5), Kazakhstan (1), Kyrgyzstan (1), Russia (1), Ukraine (1) and Uzbekistan (1), the Drug Control Agency (DCA)’s press center reports.
Last year, 50 foreigners were arrested in Tajikistan on drug charges and some 980 kilograms of narcotics were confiscated from them the source said.
